Site Guide

The first consists of a series of automagically generated pages from my genealogy database which I maintain using the program from John Steed called Brother's Keeper.

The second part is a collection of pages containing data relavent to the Tuckley family history (e.g. index extractions) There is also a search facility for this data.

The third part is a photo gallery of Tuckleys past and present.

The Database:

• How was it generated?

  The data was extracted from my Genealogy database as a GEDCOM file. This was then processed using a program called GEDBrowser which built the html pages required for the Web.

• How is it arranged

  The information is arranged so that it is accesible in more than one way. There is a surname list , a list of individuals and a tree like map . It is possible to view the data starting from any of these places. Once into the database proper, the user can move through the tree simply by clicking on the name of a person.
